GARRYFLEX 120GRIT MEDIUM GREY ABRASIVE BLOCK

The Garryflex 120 grit abrasive cleaning block is designed for removing light rust, oxidation and tarnish, while restoring a smooth, bright metal finish. It is particularly effective on cast iron and steel, but is equally suitable for all metals including non-ferrous materials, as well as ceramics.

Manufactured from a resilient rubber-like compound evenly impregnated with sharp silicon carbide abrasive particles, the block provides consistent cutting action throughout its life. Its flexible construction allows it to conform to surfaces and edges, giving controlled material removal without clogging.

With approximate dimensions of 80 × 50 × 20mm, the Garryflex block is easy to handle and can be used dry, or with lubricants such as water, paraffin, solvents or oils for improved cutting and finish. Please note that some lubricants may affect the rubber compound and should be used with care.

Garryflex blocks are widely used for cleaning, polishing and surface preparation in engineering, maintenance and restoration work, and are also popular for model railway track cleaning. They are an effective alternative to emery cloth, wet-and-dry paper and wire wool.

For specialist applications, the blocks can also be cut and shaped as required.
