GARRYFLEX 240GRIT FINE BROWN ABRASIVE BLOCK

The Garryflex 240 grit abrasive cleaning block is designed for the removal of light rust, oxidation and tarnish, and for restoring a smooth, bright metal finish. The fine grit makes it ideal for final cleaning and polishing, particularly on cast iron and steel, while also being suitable for all metals including non-ferrous materials, as well as ceramics.

These flexible hand sanding blocks are manufactured from a resilient rubber-like compound, evenly impregnated throughout with sharp silicon carbide abrasive particles. This construction provides uniform cutting action, long service life and controlled material removal, while allowing the block to conform to surface contours and edges.

With approximate dimensions of 80 × 50 × 20mm, the Garryflex block is comfortable to use by hand and can be used dry. For best results it may also be used with lubricants such as water, paraffin, solvents or oils. Please note that some lubricants may affect the rubber compound, so care should be taken when selecting and using lubricants.

Garryflex blocks are ideal for cleaning and polishing in engineering, maintenance and restoration applications, and are also widely used for model railway track cleaning. They provide a practical and durable alternative to emery cloth, wet-and-dry paper and wire wool.
