GARRYFLEX 36GRIT EXTRA COARSE PINK ABRASIVE BLOCK

The Garryflex 36 grit abrasive cleaning block is designed for the rapid removal of light rust, oxidation and tarnish, and for restoring a clean, bright metal surface. Its coarse grit makes it particularly effective for heavier cleaning and initial surface preparation on cast iron and steel, while remaining suitable for all metals including non-ferrous materials, as well as ceramics.

These flexible hand sanding blocks are manufactured from a resilient rubber-like compound, evenly impregnated throughout with sharp silicon carbide abrasive particles. This provides consistent cutting action, long service life and controlled material removal while allowing the block to conform to surface contours.

With approximate dimensions of 80 × 50 × 20mm, the Garryflex block is easy to handle and can be used dry. For improved cutting and finish, it may also be used with lubricants such as water, paraffin, solvents or oils. Please note that some lubricants may affect the rubber compound and should be used with care.

Garryflex blocks are ideal for cleaning and polishing in engineering, maintenance and restoration applications, and are also widely used for model railway track cleaning. They are an effective and durable alternative to emery cloth, wet-and-dry paper and wire wool.
