GARRYFLEX 60GRIT COARSE BLUE ABRASIVE BLOCK

The Garryflex 60 grit abrasive cleaning block is designed for removing light rust, oxidation and tarnish, and for restoring a clean, bright metal finish. It is particularly effective on cast iron and steel, while also being suitable for all metals including non-ferrous materials, as well as ceramics.

These flexible hand sanding blocks are manufactured from a resilient rubber-like compound, evenly impregnated throughout with sharp silicon carbide abrasive particles. This construction ensures consistent cutting action and long service life, while allowing the block to conform to surface contours for controlled material removal.

With approximate dimensions of 80 × 50 × 20mm, the Garryflex block is comfortable to use by hand and can be used dry. For best results, it may also be used with a lubricant such as water, paraffin, solvents or oils. Please note that some lubricants can affect the rubber compound, so care should be taken when selecting and using lubricants.

Garryflex blocks are ideal for cleaning and polishing applications in engineering, maintenance and restoration work, and are also widely used for model railway track cleaning. They provide a practical and durable alternative to emery cloth, wet-and-dry paper and wire wool.
