The PFERD Performance Line SG Grinding Wheel is a high-performance abrasive wheel designed for grinding, deburring and weld preparation in hard-to-reach areas. Manufactured using high-quality aluminium oxide abrasive, it combines excellent grinding performance with good tool life for demanding professional metalworking applications.

Its compact 50mm diameter and 6.2mm width make it particularly suitable for accessing confined areas, edges and detailed components where larger grinding wheels cannot be used. Designed for use with a suitable mounted arbor on straight grinders and flexible shaft drives, it provides reliable performance on steel, stainless steel (INOX), cast steel and cast iron.

Storage and Safety

Store in a clean, dry environment away from moisture, impact and extreme temperatures. Inspect the grinding wheel before use and do not use if cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged.

Use with a suitable mounted arbor and ensure the maximum operating speed of the arbor is not exceeded. The wheel must only be used for peripheral grinding and should not be used for side grinding. Never exceed the wheel's maximum speed of 19,100 RPM.

Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses or a face shield, gloves, hearing protection and respiratory protection where required. Follow all PFERD and power tool manufacturer safety instructions.
