Engineered to last longer and provide more surface contact than wire brushes. 3M's Ceramic Abrasive Grain technology features a blend of aluminum oxide and ceramic abrasive grain that enhances the toughness and hardness of the grain and continually self-sharpens to maintain a high cut rate. Combined with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres, these abrasives form an open-web material that runs cool resists loading.
