Recommended Operating Guidelines

For optimum performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15–20 m/s, providing the ideal balance between stock removal, surface finish, tool life and reduced heat generation.

For increased stock removal, select a coarser grit rather than applying additional pressure. Using suitable grinding oil for the material being worked can significantly improve abrasive performance, reduce heat build-up and extend tool life.

Storage and Safety

Store in a clean, dry environment away from moisture and extreme temperatures. Always inspect the flap wheel before use and do not use if damaged or excessively worn.

Never exceed the maximum operating speed specified by the manufacturer.
