Should the scaffolding fail inspection the insert can be removed to display the message 'Do Not Use This Equipment' or replace with a prohibition insert. Scaffolding must be inspected in the following conditions: Following initial erection---Exposure to adverse weather---Conditions that could affect its strength or stability---Following substantial alteration (addition or subtraction)--- At regular intervals not exceeding 7 days from previous inspection.
